WeldWerks Brewing Co. New Colorado Springs Location
Get excited because the rumors are true! WeldWerks Brewing Company, a Greely, CO staple since 2015, is expanding to Colorado Springs with a grand opening date slated for October. Known for brewing a wide array of beer styles, including Juicy Bits, one of the most highly regarded Hazy IPAs in the country, WeldWerks’ “Fine Tuned Beer” will be a welcomed addition to the growing Colorado Springs beer scene.

From Dive to Outdoor Enthusiast Paradise
WeldWerks is overhauling the former location of The Dive, a well known COS staple. With the help of their creative muscles and [au]workshop architects and urbanists, they plan on showcasing their commitment to innovation and hospitality. For example, the 1,300 sq. ft. facility will include an outdoor beer garden and a second-story treehouse-inspired patio.
“Anyone who has seen The Dive understands that it will be a full rehab but we will be basically keeping the same structure with new skin. We came up with some pretty out-there designs but ultimately, we elected to retain as much of the original structure as possible.”

There are also plans for a dog-friendly outdoor area, summer events, and lawn games in the soon to be named space. But, Dive lovers don’t fret! Much of the historic, 1900s building will retain the cozy and funky character of Old Colorado City with a new WeldWerks flair.

What to Expect at WeldWerks in Colorado Springs
WeldWerks Old Colorado City location will be at 3043 W. Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Groundbreaking will take place in September with the grand opening date in October. The brewery also plans to partner with local nonprofits and local businesses for beer dinners, fundraising events, and other collaborative events.
