Upcoming Craft Beer Events You Don’t Want to Miss in SD!
As the days get longer and the nights get warmer, the weekends just keep getting better! Is there any other way to celebrate other than going to some of the best beer events around? We think not! San Diego always has something going on. When it comes to craft beer, we really know how to throw a good beer fest. In honor of these upcoming events, we wanted to share with you the ones we’re most looking forward to:
Up first is San Diego Homebrew Fest, happening on Saturday, March 18th in North Park.
If you are a homebrewer yourself, this event is great way to experience other homebrews and meet a bunch of other homebrewers! Starting at 12pm this event will have 35 homebrews to try as well as a chance to vote for your favorites! The proceeds of the event will be donated to the Friends of Jefferson Elementary! This event is held in parking lot behind the Observatory North Park.
Next up on Saturday, March 25th is the Local Brews Local Grooves at the San Diego House of Blues.
Do you love music and craft beer? Then this event will be your jam, and yes, pun intended! With 16 breweries, 16 bands and lots of delicious food, you’re guaranteed to have a good time. The tickets for the event are even more likely to make it a good time. With tickets starting at $10, you won’t want to miss it. The doors open for VIP at 5pm and 6pm for general admission!
On April 15th, 7th Annual Mission Valley Beer and Food Festival returns to Qualcomm Stadium.
With 20 breweries and 19 restaurants to match, this is a beer lover and foodie dream! The beauty of this event is that all the food offered is part of your ticket! You can’t go wrong with a belly full of craft beer and yummy food. VIP starts at 12pm and General Admission at 1:30pm. Best of all? Proceeds from the event will go to It’s All About the Kids!
May 6th marks the return of the 6th Annual Rhythm and Brews Festival at Vista Village.
Put on by the San Diego Brewers Guild, this event will feature over 100 beers to sample from the best breweries in the county! Set in the beautiful Vista Village with live performances and food trucks, you’re bound to have a rockin’ good time. The proceeds from this event will benefit San Diego Brewers Guild, supporting them in presenting more wonderful craft beer events like this and our favorite week of the year San Diego Beer Week!

From June 16th-18th, the SD International Beer Fest will take over the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

The event will feature beer from 14 countries. It’s your chance to go beyond our humble abode of San Diego and try some amazing beer. This event will also have speakers from different breweries covering topics like Beer and Cheese Pairings and How to Judge Beer like a Pro! Additionally, your ticket also gives you admission to the San Diego County Fair.
