Tickled Pink over Pink Boots Society 10th Anniversary Festival
The Pink Boots Society 10th Anniversary Beer Festival on Saturday, June 3rd aimed to celebrate female brewers who weren’t afraid to make strides in a predominantly male industry. We attended the event to help show support to all the amazing women working in beer, and feel the Festival achieved what it aimed to do. 100% of proceeds from the event are going towards scholarships to further educate women in the beer industry.
Favorite Craft Beers
Seabright Brewery | Jasmine Pale Ale with GLITTER was the beer that we could just not get enough of. Now before you judge a beer by it’s sparkle, the flavor was just as magical as looking at the glitter. The oats and jasmine really played well together to create a well-balanced beer. Not to worry the added glitter is completely safe to consume. Next time we are in Santa Cruz, we will be stopping by the brewery to have more.
Three Weavers
| Magnificent Voices Collective Gose was light, crisp, and refreshing. This beer was brewed as a Pink Boots collaboration beer on International Women’s Day. Meyer lemon, kombu, lemongrass, & Himalayan pink salt create a beer that was extremely memorable.
Ska Brewing | Pink Vapor Stew is one of their Mod Project beers that’s unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. Brewed with beets, carrots, ginger, and apples, the funky, tart beer that was appropriately pink for the occasion. One of the added perks of this festival was that it featured breweries and beers that don’t normally have a presence in San Diego based festivals.

| A merchandise and branding company fueled by a devote passion and innate desire to spread their love of good beer. They sell their own merchandise, but you are probably more familiar with their work with many of the local breweries. Hoppy Beer Gear helps supply the merchandise at many local favorites! They are also helping us get some new merchandise, coming soon!

Second Chance Brewing Company
made an extra donation of $1,013 to the Pink Boots Society for their scholarship fund! We loved seeing them present the check to such a great cause!

Beer & Cameras made an appearance to help support the festival with awesome photos! It was great to see this amazingly talented group of people taking some epic photos for the event! For those of you who don’t know, they help support meet-ups at breweries all over the world where they shoot with different cameras and help take #beertography to a whole new level!
