Stone Brewing Rallies Breweries to Aid Santa Barbara Victims
In light of recent events, Stone Brewing plans to rally and help relief efforts in Santa Barbara. Beginning this week, the San Diego local will be donating a portion of their sales. Their distributing division, Stone Distributing Co., and the craft brands it carries will also be contributing to the cause as well. The donation will go to benefit those in Santa Barbara County affected by the devastating fires and mudslides. Direct Relief will be the beneficiary, being as they are currently providing emergency services in the area.
A percentage of Stone and Stone Distributing Co.’s supplier partners’ sales will generate the donation. A couple of their most notable partners are MadeWest Brewing Co. in Ventura and Silva Brewing out of Paso Robles. Also, Stone Brewing will donate $1 of every pint or growler fill of Stone IPA at all of its Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, Taproom and Company Store locations.

Stone Brewing and its distribution arm is no stranger to the rally cry. In a similar manner, the company raised $72,000 to aid those in Sonoma and Napa Counties. This came following the fires last October. To date, Stone Brewing has donated more than $3.5 million to charity from events and one-off campaigns such as this.
