A Special Cypress Grove Cheese and Craft Beer Pairing
If you’re anything like us, then cheese and beer always sounds like a good idea whether they are served up separately or together. But if you’ve never had the chance to have delicious craft beer paired with gourmet cheese, you are truly missing out. Our friends at Cypress Grove Cheese were kind enough to send us four mouthwatering cheeses. We first met them at their booth at Great American Beer Fest this year in Denver and their cheeses were obviously a hit. There was a line snaking down the side of the booth and down the walkway!
When it comes to pairing craft beer and gourmet cheeses together, just remember everyone’s palates are different. With the multitude of beer and cheese options it can get a bit overwhelming. So after little bit of research and some help from Cypress Grove’s website, which offers pairing suggestions, we found four beers that we felt would work well with these cheeses. Check out the yummy pairing suggestions below or feel free to come up with your own!

While they may seem like opposites, the hoppiness takes the punch of the spicy cheese and leaves you with a clean, refreshing finish. This is a winning combination!

This pairing is different from what you might expect, but the dry smokiness of the beer gives a clean finish after the creaminess of the cheese. This pairing is the least intense of the group but also the most unusual.
