The highly anticipated return of Ska Brewing‘s award-winning Mexican Logger marks that summer is drawing close. This particular brew from Ska is a favorite of both fans and critics, clinching medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the International Style Pilsner Category for the past two years.
The original Mexican Logger, which was first brewed in 1999, was created with fresh grains and Saaz hops. The brew clocks in at 5.2% ABV, 20 IBU’s and 3 SRM. It’s a highly sessionable beer that is light, refreshing. Undisputedly, it hits the spot on a hot summer day. Additionally, this beer features a balance of sweet malt and mild bite alongside a light to medium body and a crisp finish that will leave you wanting more. To keep up with the demand, Ska increased production of the beer by 20% for 2017. This means that you’ll definitely be able to get your hands on some!

The new Mixed-Up 12 will include Modus Mandarina IPA, True Blonde, Pinstripe and Mexican Logger. The popularity and reputation of Modus Mandarina and Mexican Logger for being enjoyed under the summer sun earned them a spot in the seasonal assorted offering. On the other hand, the winter version of the Mixed-Up 12 will include another seasonal favorite: Euphoria.
The new Mixed-Up 12 will be available through September in all of Ska’s regions of distribution. This includes most regions in Colorado, Southern California, Chicago, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Ska plans on celebrating the new Mixed-Up 12 and the return of Mexican Logger with a release party on April 5, 2017. It will take place at Ska’s World HQ in Durango, Colorado. There will be live music by the Crags along with beer specials for all those attending starting at 5:00pm!
