Ska Brewing Set to Release 12 Hangry Men for Durango Independent Film Festival
Have you heard? Ska Brewing just announced their partnership with the Durango Independent Film Festival for their 12th anniversary celebrations. The brewing company will be releasing 12 Hangry Men for this special occasion. It’s an incredibly versatile farmhouse ale brewed to pair with a wide variety of foods. This limited release will be available to locals on Wednesday, February 8.
“We at Durango Independent Film Festival are extremely grateful for our partnership with Ska Brewing as our Official Beer for the past 12 years. We get excited every year for the new brew and they always knock it out of the park, “ said Joanie Fraughton, Executive Director of the Durango Independent Film Festival.
12 Hangry Men is a French-style farmhouse ale that is brewed with white grapes and a French saison yeast strain to match. The result is a complex, earthy ale laced with notes of lemon and white pepper. The ale has a semi-dry finish and pairs wonderfully with myriad foods – Thai curries, earthy cheeses, salads, poultry, fish and shellfish.
The farmhouse ale will be sold individually in 220z bombers. The neck tag will include a QR code linking the consumer to beer pairings and recipes found on Ska’s website. The official 12 Hangry Men Release Party will be held at Ska Brewing World HQ Wednesday, February 8, at 5:00pm. It’ll be an evening filled with great beer, fantastic pairings, and a phenomenal social scene.
The film festival runs March 1-5. It aims to bring together a community of independent filmmakers to discuss global, innovative and diverse films. The second night of the festival will feature the Craft Beer & Culinary Crawl at various downtown locations. Craft beer fans can taste 12 Hangry Men with an assortment of foods.
