Ska Brewing to Debut Pils World at GABF
We’re all gearing up for the upcoming Great American Beer Festival, and that includes Ska Brewing too! The Durango, CO. brewery just announced the release of its highly anticipated new pilsner, Pils World, debuting just in time for GABF. This clean and crisp new American pilsner showcases Ska’s twist on its classic German heritage.
The name is inspired affectionately by the famous Phil’s World mountain bike trails outside of Durango. The brew has a light malt backbone with a moderately bitter hop presence. It transitions into hints of lemon and orange zest, finishing off with a touch of tropical fruit.
You can set your mouth ablaze with all the spice and heat you can tolerate because Pils World is there for you. It’s bitter hop presence cuts through the spice and it’s malt backbone is sweet enough to combat the heat.
Pils World hits the shelf in 12-oz cans, which contain 5.4% ABV, beginning October 7th and will be available year round. This tasty new brew will debut at GABF October 6th, where Ska will be hosting happy hour Thursday through Saturday from 3-6 PM at The Corner Office where Pils World will be on tap.
