Female-owned, Second Chance Beer Co. celebrates International Women’s Day the best way they know how, creating beer. In collaboration with other local and women-led companies from all different fields, Second Chance is creating Women’s Everyday Rosé.

Why is March 8th of importance to the craft beer industry?

March 8th is International Women’s Day and Collaboration Brew Day, as dubbed by the Pink Boots Society. Each year women come together to brew a special beer for this special day. It’s a day to take time to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions women have on the craft beer industry. From brewers to owners, and beer lovers alike, women inhabit every space of the craft beer industry.

Women’s Everyday Rosé

Second Chance’s rosé is being brewed the weekend of International Women’s Day. All the women involved will come out to Second Chance’s Carmel Mountain location and help with the brew process. The base of Women’s Everyday Rosé is a blonde ale with fresh citrus, Semillon grapes and rose petals.
