Common Theory Public House in Kearny Mesa was inspired by a group of friends who are always in search of great food, quality craft beers, and an overall good time. It’s hard not to find that there with over 30 craft beers on tap and delicious handcrafted dishes that go great with beer! If you haven’t made it here yet, now’s the perfect opportunity! They are hosting a slew of cool events for San Diego Beer Week to celebrate SD breweries.

Imperial Friday
When: Friday 11.4
Details: To kick off SDBW, they’ll be tapping all the limited edition imperial beers they’ve been hoarding. So kick back after work today and enjoy some delicious, higher ABV brews!
3rd Annual Sour Saturday
When: Saturday 11.05
Details: For this event they will be tapping 10 Sour Beers, which will be available ALL DAY in 5oz pours!
Thank You Industry Monday
When: Monday 11.07
Details: Lucky enough to be part of the Beer Industry? Industry folks get 50% of all food and drafts! Restaurants and Breweries only, so bring your proof of employment.
Jock of the Year
When: Wednesday 11.09
Details: Need something fun to get you over the hump? Love cheese? On Wednesday, 4-6 breweries will be setting up jockie-box stations inside Common Theory. Each brewery will be featuring 2 beers each for a total of 10 beers! Vote for the best IPA and best cheese pairing.
Tickets: $20 presale, $25 at the door 12 x 5 oz tasters + cheese platters at each station for pairings
Uncommon Beer Night
When: Friday 11.11
Details: Tired of the same beers? They’ll be tapping as many uncommon beers as possible. Bottle pours at 8pm with Eclipse and more! The brewers and owners of Propolis, Paradox, and Flat Tail will be there. You can meet the brewers of Brewer’s Table too!
Homebrew 101
When: Sunday 11.13
Details: Always dreamed of brewing your own beer? Guest brewers from 32 North and Home Brew Mart will be teaching you how to homebrew! There will be demonstrations of brewing equipment, ingredients, the brewing process and more.
