What’s In Store for San Diego Brewers Guild
2017’s off to a great start for San Diego Brewers Guild and there’s still so much more to come! Starting this year, Jill Davidson will be taking over as her first full year as president of SD Brewers Guild in addition to managing Pizza Port Brewing. Jill will be working with Guild VP, Paul Sangster, co-founder and head brewer of Rip Current Brewing.
The two have joined forces to bring this craft beer capital, well, everything that’s #sdbeer! It is the Guild’s mission to raise awareness and increase the visibility of fresh, local brews as a preeminent resource for the craft beer industry. How do they accomplish that? Simple. through educating those who are near to beer and beer connoisseurs with their brand-new website and their two annual events: The Rhythm & Brews Craft Beer & Music Festival and of course, San Diego Beer Week!

Right around the corner on May 6th, The Rhythms and Brews Craft Beer Festival returns to Vista Village once again! It’ll be another day filled with great tunes, fantastic company, and some of the most sought-after brews. Attendees will spend the afternoon sampling the 100+ beers available from 50 award-winning breweries. In combination with tunes & food trucks, it’ll surely be a night to remember. Tickets are already available here and proceeds will benefit SD Brewers Guild. Be sure to stay tuned for more details…we’ll be sharing them with you soon!
SD Beer Week will certainly make the winter season a little bit hoppier! Already booked for November 3rd – 12th, the Guild is already curating a line-up that will appeal to all beer lovers. We can’t wait till they reveal what events and which breweries will participate in this exciting, fun-filled week!
The Guild’s newly launched website, www.sdbeer.com, is also available as a resource for craft beer lovers.
