San Diego Breweries Take Over Yard House Mission Valley Taps
If you haven’t tried Yard House Mission Valley‘s way of tapping into 2017, you most definitely should! We recently had the chance to experience their Tap Takeover Series, which initiated on January 10th. The series features a different local San Diego brewery each month. Each brewery will be taking over 5 of the 130 tap handles at this particular location. The rotating taps each month, along with new, unique limited-release beers will not last long. These offerings are very limited, so when they run out of a tap, they’re out!
The Tap Takeover Series Thus Far
Stone Brewing kicked off their Tap Takeover series for the month of January. Then the handles were passed to Green Flash (and Cellar 3), who tapped in on February 7th. The tap offerings from Green Flash/Cellar 3 included: Cellar 3 Nouveau Tarte, Cellar 3 Devine Belgique, Cellar 3 Ideal Belgique, Green Flash Imperial IPA, and Green Flash Passion Fruit Kicker.
Next On Deck?
Duck Foot Brewing Company is up next for the month of March. They’ll be featuring: The Contender, a West-Coast Style IPA, Duckzilla Double White IPA, Choco Nut Lust Chocolate Hazelnut Porter, Ukrainian Imperial Stout, and Imperial Porter starting March 7th.
The remainder of 2017 will be followed with Tap Takeovers from:

- Mother Earth Brewing Company starting May 9th
- Alpine Beer Co. starting June 6th
- Second Chance Beer Co. starting July 11th
- Modern Times Beer starting August 8th

- Coronado Brewing Company starting November 7th
- AleSmith Brewing Company starting December 5th
