San Diego Beer and Music Festival
It’s festival season! We’re not talking about the headdress, bindi wearing, cultural appropriation type of festival, we’re talking beer! Rockstarbeer Productions is collaborating with local breweries to host their annual San Diego Beer and Music Festival. Coming a long way from BSSMNT, this year’s festival will take place at Port Pavilion on the Broadway Pier. Unlike many other San Diego beer festivals, this particular festival will be taking place at night. Imagine a music festival with endless beer samples, and you’ve got San Diego Beer and Music Festival. You will be rocking out to a number of talented artists such as, Faux Fighters, Bass Punks, a DJ set by Eddey Metal Hands and Matchbox Twenty tribute band.
The San Diego Beer and Music Festival will take place Saturday, April 8th from 7-10pm.
VIP ticket holders can enter at 6pm, grabbing a whole extra hour to try an endless amount of beer tastings along with VIP beers. There will be 100+ unique craft beers to sample. A few amazing local and regional breweries that made an appearance last year include: Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, Latitude 33 Brewing Company, Ninkasi Brewing, Saint Archer Brewing Co., Angel City Brewery, Deschutes Brewery + more.
There are a number of groupons left for half off admission. There is also a chance for you to volunteer your time and help keep the event running smoothly. Volunteers will be compensated with a t-shirt and access to The Brewers After Party. Who doesn’t love free t-shirts?
The main goal for both Rockstarbeer Productions and the many breweries in attendance is to raise money for a great nonprofit, Coastal Conservation Association. CCA works to combat commercial overfishing around the country.
