OB Oktoberfest | Friday, October 12th – Saturday, October 13th – Ocean Beach

For the first time ever, local OB breweries have come together to create a unique collaboration beer, OB Session SIPA, to celebrate Oktoberfest. The 6-way collab features Belching Beaver – OB, Culture Brewing Co., Helm’s Brewing Co. – Ocean Beach Tasting Room, Mike Hess Brewing – OB, OB Brewery and Kilowatt Brewing. OB Session SIPA will only be poured at Kilowatt and the OB Beer Garden.

Deft Brewing’s First Anniversary Celebration Weekend | Friday, October 12th – Sunday, October 14th – Linda Vista

Deft Brewing couldn’t fit all their celebrating into one day, so they decided 3 would suffice. Friday night, Deft offers great beer specials, new releases, and commemorative glassware. Food from Eat Your Heart Out food truck will be available from 4 pm – 7 pm.

Saturday will be filled with the same great beer specials and releases as well a barbeque to fill the hungry patrons.

Sunday is “Deft Dogs Day”. Deft is partnering with the San Diego Humane Society to wrap up their weekend celebration. The Humane Society is bringing adorable adoptable dogs from  12 pm – 3 pm. The popular Barks Brews & Mews Honey Kolsch commemorative brew (brewed for SDHS) will be back on tap. Grab a beer at Deft and you might just come home with a new fur friend.

Ghouls in the Garden | Thursday, October 18th & Thursday, October 25th – Escondido

Stone is getting into the Halloween spirit. Every week in October, Stone is hosting a spooky movie night in their gardens. Movies start at 6:30 PM in the Upper Garden and Garden Deck and space is limited on a first come, first served basis. Grab a beer, snack and cuddle up, it’s about to get spooky.

Craft Classic Half Marathon & 5K | Sunday, October 21st – Mira Mesa

Craft beer runs have become quite the sensation. Green Flash along with Adidas and Road Runner Sports are hosting a unique and challenging run for brave beer lovers. Tackle hills with sweeping views and enjoy a beer at the end of the finish line. Night of the Evil Dead Red Halloween Bash | Friday, October 26th – Pacific Beach

6 years? Has it really been that long? Belching Beaver is ready to celebrate 6 years of great beer with a Haunted Carnival party. They’ll have crazy clowns, a fortune teller, games, prizes, costume contests, food, music, and special release beers. Sounds like a party.

Thorn Brewing First Anniversary Party – Barrio Logan Location | Sunday, October 28th – Barrio Logan

Celebrations are in order for Thorn St. Brewing. It’s been one year since Thorn ventured into Barrio Logan. Bring the whole family to enjoy live music by Camino Paz and delicious food from Tacos Barrio and The Friendly. Crafts and games like the bourbon barrel-aged ring toss, pumpkin decorating, and a costume contest will for sure be a hit for all ages. You know what else is a year old? Thorn’s Rustic Ralph Anniversary Ale. A brett saison, aged in Chardonnay barrels with either blackberries or peaches. This 7.0% beer was aged 14 months and will be released at the anniversary party. You don’t want to miss this beer or the party.
