Slow Cooked BBQ Pulled Pork- AS SEEN ON CW
We can’t think of anything we love more than BBQ pulled pork and craft beer so putting the two things together seemed like a brilliant idea. Throw in the fact that this recipe has only a few ingredients and slow cooks in your crock pot while you are at work makes this pure GOLD. With a recipe this good, it only made sense for us to use a craft beer that has actually won GOLD. We partnered with BNS Brewing & Distilling Company to use their Revolver IPA which took GOLD in the 2015 Great American Beer Festival in the largest category they had…the American-Style India Pale Ale with 336 Entries. We also decided to pair this recipe with two additional beers that they produce in cans because they are the perfect pairing with BBQ Pulled Pork. Lawmaker IPA is a West Coast style IPA with a big burst of pine, floral, and citrus notes on the nose with a slightly more bitter finish on the end. Perfect for the hop lovers in your life. Not everyone loves a bitter beer, which is why we also featured their Gunfighter Golden Ale because is very light bodied, clean and crisp. It has small notes of pears and biscuits on the finish and is perfect for sipping on a hot San Diego day! Of course, you can also pair it with the beer we made the recipe with as well. The Revolver IPA has notes of pineapple, citrus, peaches, and mango with a juicy, clean, and crisp finish. It is less bitter than most IPA’s which makes this one of our go to IPA’s in San Diego.
