Frosting

whipping cream

tablespoons
butter

semi-sweet chocolate chips

tablespoons
stout beer
Instructions
Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Dissolve baking soda in beer. Add to batter along with salt.
Stir in flour and chocolate chips.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto un-greased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes or edges are nicely browned.
Frosting
In a saucepan heat whipping cream and 2 tablespoons of butter to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted and smooth.
Stir in 4 tablespoons beer.
Pour into bowl, cover and refrigerate until chocolate is firm.
Dip chocolate chip cookies into chocolate and enjoy!
