Beer Steamed Peel and Eat Shrimp

Ingredients
  • 1lb raw shrimpdeveined with shell on
  • 1can Jekyll Brewing’s Pineapple Habanero Hop Dang Diggityor beer of your choice
  • Old Bay seasoningto taste
  • Lemonsfor serving
Instructions
  1. Rinse shrimp in cold water, use a knife to devein the shrimp. Be sure to keep the shells on the shrimp, this will add a lot more flavor to your shrimp!
  2. Pat dry shrimp dry then season with Old Bay seasoning, this is done to your preference, the more you add the spicier it will be.
  3. Add the beer into a large saucepot, sprinkle some Old Bay in and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce beer to a simmer then add your steamer basket make sure that it sits above the beer. Add the shrimp to the basket then cover the pot. Cook until all the shrimp have turned pink.
  5. Serve with cocktail sauce, melted butter, or just lemon wedges.
