Pink Boots Society’s 10th Anniversary Conference + Beer Festival June 2nd-3rd, 2017
If you haven’t heard already, Pink Boots Society is celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a highly-anticipated beer festival and conference. The event will be taking place from June 2nd-3rd, 2017. Their goal? To celebrate 10 years of assisting, inspiring, and encouraging women beer professionals!
Learn from Women in the Beer Industry
Spend the day hearing those who fearlessly paved the way for other females to join all aspects of the craft beer industry. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Megan Parisi, head brewer of Sam Adams, and many others throughout the day. Additionally, Abby Heilbron of Ska Brewing, Amy Newell-Large of Avery Brewing, Karen Barnett of Small Bar, Joyce Turner of Mammoth Brewing, and Gwen Conley of Cutwater Spirits are among those leading the workshops. The conference will take place at The Lafayette Hotel, starting at 7:30 AM on June 2nd with a welcome breakfast & registration. It’ll be followed by the opening remarks, the workshop, and conclude at 7 PM. More information about the conference is available here.

The Pink Boots Society 10th Anniversary Beer Festival aims to celebrate female brewers who weren’t afraid to make strides in a predominantly male industry. The celebration will take place at Liberty Station’s Ingram Plaza from 12 noon – 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 3rd. Each ticket will get you unlimited 2 oz pours by Pink Boots Society Members and a 10th Anniversary souvenir glass. Event goers will also have access to delicious SD food trucks in addition to four solid hours to get to know the Pink Boots Society and their members. You’ll also be supporting a phenomenal cause, because 100% of proceeds from the event will be going towards scholarships to further educate women in the beer industry. How cool is that?
