Over the Line Craft Beer Festival
Over the Line patrons and players rejoice! This year the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) has announced its first ever Over the Line Craft Beer Festival. We can’t think of two things that go more hand-in-hand. In previous years, Over the Line goers and players have expressed an interest in merging with the craft beer industry, so OMBAC has happily granted their wish. The beer festival will be held during a brand new mini-tournament on Saturday, May 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mariners Point at Mission Bay Park. This event is not to be confused with the Over the Line World Championship taking place in July.
“Over the Line and craft beer are two things that are a strong part of San Diego culture and history. It made sense to put them together. It’s a perfect Match,” said Vice President of OMBAC, Jeff Johnson.

The Over the Line mini tournament is set to host 125 teams in a double elimination showdown from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 20th. Winning teams will then return on May 21st to compete for the championship.
At the festival/tournament, patrons and players can expect a full list of craft brews, food trucks, and tournament watching. So far, the brewers participating in this festival include: Iron Fist Brewing, Bolt Brewery, Benchmark Brewery, Fall Brewing, Indian Joe Brewing, Left Coast Brewing, Second Chance Brewing, Aztec Brewing, Resident Brewing, Helms Brewing and more. The event is ages 21 and up.

General admission tickets are $30 per person with advance online purchase, or $40 per person at the gate on the day of event. Tickets include four hours of beer tasting. That’s right, we said FOUR HOURS! Purchase tickets HERE! The craft beer festival event is 21+ only, however the Over the Line tournament portion is free to the public.
