Great American Beer Festival 2019 – Night Two Recap

We had the full Denver & Atlanta team in attendance at the Friday night session of the Great American Beer Festival 2019 and it was one to remember. One thing that is really standing out this year is the level of detail that has gone into all of the experiences! It’s really cool to be able to go to the different parts of the festival and experience different vibes.  Although extremely hard to pick, here are a few of our favorite beers/breweries of this session.

PRO TIP: Swing by the Guilds booth early to do their challenge. They only have a limited supply of the Beer Love glasses to give out.

Event Highlights

Friday night was all about exploring the different experiences! We had a blast going on a beer scavenger hunt thanks to Craftbeer.com & scored some sick patches & a fancy mug for completing the challenge. You can start the challenge in The Campground section & we highly recommended it!

The Jameson Caskmates section was back and better than ever! They brought back their epic 360 photo experience & this year they even set up an awesome swag shop right in the middle with some exclusive swag. You’ll definitely be seeing people walk around the festival with their Jameson tote bags & now you know where to get one! Be quick as they go fast.

Sierra Nevada Original Brewhouse is an awesome thing to check out as well. On top of pouring great beers at the station, it is a great display of the humble beginnings of one of the beer greats!

We also went to the Dogfish Head afterparty & it was lit. They had a Hawaiian disco dance party at the Oskar Blues location in downtown Denver! As you are walking around the festival today, you are sure to find some invites or info to some sort of afterparty. We highly recommend attending one to keep the fun going!
