With a history like that, it’s no wonder why Denver has become one of the top meccas of craft beer. The presence of amazing breweries and a strong beer culture are a few of the many reasons why the Great American Beer Festival returns to the gorgeous city year after year.

Located in the Riverfront neighborhood West of Downtown Denver, Denver Beer Co. specializes in seasonal varieties and offers an ever-changing lineup on tap. Epic Brewing Company – 3001 Walnut St
Opening its doors to their Denver tasting room in the River North (RiNo) district, Epic Brewing’s spacious taproom has been an attraction for visitors from all over. Their tasting room has 25 of their own craft brews on tap, with features of limited seasonal and small, “one-off” batches. They also have one epic flight option that allows you taste almost all of the beers they have on tap so be sure to bring your friends!

Renegade Brewing Company – 925 W 9th Ave
Founded by homebrewers Brian and Khara O’Connell in 2011, Renegade Brewing Company is now located in Denver’s Art District. The company’s humble roots took the area by storm with their offering of “offensively delicious” brews.

Great Divide Brewing Co – 2201 Arapahoe St
Great Divide is the recipient of 18 Great American Beer Festival medals, 5 World Beer Cup awards, earned 14 spots on BeerAdvocate’s “Top Rated Beers: Colorado”, and was named “Top Brewer in Colorado” by RateBeer.com. This highly awarded brewing company has a tasting room in Denver that you’ll have to stop by to experience for yourself. It has a spacious patio area where you can enjoy their beers while taking in the Denver skyline. Additionally, they have a Barrel Bar where you can try their barrel aged lineup.

Located on the Eastern border of Denver, this beer company features delicious brews inspired by the brewer’s favorite works of fiction. This unique tasting room created out of everything literature is complete with a bar that is made out of books!

Wynkoop Brewing Company – 1634 18th St..
Wynkoop is Denver’s first brewpub, which was co-founded in 1988 by former Denver governor John Hickenlooper. Since its inception, it has grown to become one of the largest brewpubs in the nation. Located in the 1899-built J.S. Brown Mercantile building, the brewpub is filled with various bar games for all and is spacious for visitors to socialize without feeling over crowded.
