Get Ready for San Diego Beer Week 2016!
It’s that time of the year again! It’s time to gear up and get ready to taste some of San Diego’s best! We are so excited for this week because this is something that is such a big part of the culture here in SD. This may be the first time we’ll be participating in these events as Hoplight Social, but it most definitely will not be the last. With tap takeovers, special releases, food pairings, dinners and much more, we’re excited to attend a ton of different events and activities that will be happening throughout the city!
San Diego Beer Week will span from Friday, November 4th to Sunday, November 13th. Events during the week are a great time to get to know the masterminds behind some of San Diego’s finest breweries, as well as connect with other great people over great craft brews! Whether you’re new to the craft beer scene or a veteran, you’ll have a great time at the festivities with other beer enthusiasts.
With that being said, here’s a few events that we are particularly excited about:
Rare Beer Breakfast – Stone Brewing Co.

It’s peanut butter jelly time! And it’ll be that way all day at Duck Foot Brewing! Their first PB & J beer was a huge hit, so they decided to bring it back with a few variations to taste. So, Duck Foot invites you to come back and relive your childhood with these PB & J brews!

New English’s Barrel-Aged Tap Takeover will not be one that you want to miss. New English will be doing something different this year with the event – they’ll have 22oz bottles available of the Zumbar in limited quantities. Since they’re both small-batch and one offs, when they’re gone, they’re gone!
