DIY Beer Tour: BEERAMAR
Planning a brewery tour in San Diego is exciting but can also be a tough task. With so many great breweries to choose from, it makes it difficult to decide which ones to go to. Luckily, a lot of breweries tend to be in the same area as each other. One area that has a cluster of amazing breweries is the Miramar/ Mira Mesa area and has become known as “Beeramar” to the people in the craft beer world.
No matter what breweries you decide to tour, please make sure you are responsible and have sober drivers, use Uber or Lyft, or have a Limousine or Party Bus.

Our Favorite Walking Tour:
If you are looking to do a walking beer tour, there is a group of four breweries within walking distance of each other. You can start at Ballast Point Brewing Company then walk to Pure Project which shares a wall with Amplified Aleworks and then a little bit further down the street is Duckfoot Brewing Company. Each of these four breweries has something different to offer so you will definitely get a unique experience at each one. Added bonus: Duckfoot Brewing has gluten reduced beers for those of you with gluten allergies!
