Denver Beer July Round-Up!
July is upon us and summer is officially in full swing! With the help of our friends at RadCraft, we wanted to share this round-up of upcoming happenings in the Denver (and greater Denver Area) this July. Get a group together and check out one -if not more- of these upcoming events and beer releases!
BEER RELEASES
Barrels & Bottles Brewery’s 300th batch, Dusty Bottoms is now on tap. Brewed in collaboration with its former head brewers Cory Carvatt (head brewer of Little Machine in Denver, CO) and Shaun Salyards (head brewer of Red Truck Brewing in Fort Collins, CO), Dusty Bottoms is a special Berliner Weisse using tamarind. On Wednesday, July 4, Strange Craft released its fifth annual batch of Watermelon Hefe at 12pm during the brewery’s Fourth of July celebration. Watermelon Hefe will be served in pints at the bar and Crowlers to-go, while supplies last. Additional details here.
Lone Tree Brewing Co. taps the second beer in the Hoppy Little Trees Project the second weekend of July. This single hop IPA that was brewed with Columbus Hops.
Funkwerks has a new mixed 12-pack out that includes Saison, Raspberry Provincial, and two limited, seasonal offerings: White and Boysenberry Provincial (Boysenberry is only available in the pack). Winky’s Snack Packs are available at Funkwerks’ Fort Collins tasting room and at select liquor stores.
Station 26 initially told you it would be ready on 6/30 for a crowler release and tapping. It wasn’t quite ready yet, so they had to postpone the release to make sure we offered up the best possible beer that we could. Piña Colada Milkshake WILL be ready for the rescheduled crowler release and tapping on Saturday, July 14 at 1pm.

Escape Room: Bootlegger’s Breakout @ Lone Tree Brewing, Wednesdays, July 11 – August 29
Clue Room and Lone Tree Brewing Co. have teamed up to bring you a thrilling new 1920’s themed escape room — Bootlegger’s Breakout, available Wednesdays July 11- August 29 at Lone Tree Brewing with four half hour sessions to choose from (5:00pm, 5:45pm, 6:30pm, 7:15pm). Sign up beginnings at 4pm each Wednesday. Cost is $10 per person during the promotional period of July through August.
Survival Knot Tying Class @ Funkwerks, Sunday, July 21
Join Naked & Afraid survivor David Michael Scott and learn some useful wilderness skills at Funkwerks. Learn how to tie various knots to get yourself out of tricky situations in the wilderness and around the home. Tickets and details can be found on the Facebook event.
Summer Market @ Lone Tree Brewing, Sunday, July 22
Lone Tree Brewing will be hosting a summer rendition of their popular dog-friendly outdoor market Sunday, July 22, 11am – 5pm. This free market will include a variety of goods made by local vendors, including handmade beer soaps, home decor, dog treats, food truck, face painting, and so much more. Brews and Bodyslams- Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling @ Bierstadt Laugerhaus, Friday, July 27
Rocky Mountain Pro mountain pro brings the best pro wrestling action in the Rocky Mountain Region to Denver for another wild night at The Rackhouse in the Bierstadt Lagerhaus Beer Hall. This 21+ event feature great Buy-One-Get-One first drink specials as well as relaxed rules where anything can and usually does happen.

Funkwerks Summer Concert Series Fridays
Funkwerks is serving up live music on its Fort Collins patio every Friday from June through September from 6pm – 8pm. Here is the Funkwerks 2018 Summer Concert Series lineup.
Buckets of Provincial are also available at Funkwerks in Fort Collins on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all summer long.
PENCIL IT IN FOR AUGUST
Tickets are now on sale for the 2nd Annual Castle Rock Brew Fest Under the Stars hosted by Rockyard Brewing and 105 West Brewing. This magical evening of live music, craft beer, and small bites will go down at the Millhouse & Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 25 at 1381 W Plum Creek Pkwy. Tickets to this festival cost $65 and proceeds support the Can’dAid Foundation.
