Chapman Crafted Beer Turns ONE!

Congrats to Chapman Crafted Beer for turning one! For those of you who have not heard of Chapman Crafted Beer, they are located in Orange, CA. We first found out about Chapman Crafted Beer when we had their Slow Riser Coffee Red Ale on Nitro at a local bar in San Diego a few months ago. This beer is delicious and we knew we needed to make it out to their brewery sooner than later. After doing research, we figured attending their 1st Anniversary Block Party would be the perfect time to make the trip up! One thing is for sure, we are glad we did!

The Tasting Room

Chapman Crafted has a few different rooms you can experience, including an outdoor section. One of the rooms was decorated with barrels they use for aging, another room was decorated with kegs, and a third room houses their main brewery and taps. We really enjoyed the vibe of the brewery. It is a really cool place to hang out with friends, family, & your four legged companions! The tasting room is located at 123 N Cypress St Orange, California.

Anniversary Beer

Old Towne Block Party IPA | New England | This juicy beer featured: Galaxy, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Blanc hops. You get hints of pineapple as you enjoy this truly refreshing IPA. On top of offering it on draft at the Block Party, they released this beer in cans to celebrate their 1 Year Anniversary! SCORE!

Favorite Beers

We tried every beer on their menu. There are not many places that we can say we have trouble selecting our favorites from because all the beers are solid, but this is one of those places. That said, here are a few that we just couldn’t get enough of.

Slow Riser W/ Guatemala Francisco Sanchez on Nitro | Red Ale – American Amber / Red | They use different types of coffee for their Slow Riser and honestly we haven’t experienced a less than stellar version so far. They have glassware shaped like a coffee mug to enjoy this dangerously delicious beer in! As if we need another excuse to drink beer for breakfast. The only sad part about this beer is that it’s on Nitro, which means you can’t take it home with you!

Hop Jab IPA | Imperial / Double | This beer was smooth and refreshing! This beer may be 8.6% ABV, but don’t let that deter you from ordering it. Even though it has higher alcohol content, it’s totally crushable. This well-balanced IIPA is definitely a must try.

Yes Chef! Lager | IPL (India Pale Lager) | We loved how light and crisp this beer was especially for a hot summer day! The aroma also added to our enjoyment of this beer! We loved it so much, we had to bring a crowler home with us!
