Bitter Brothers Invites you to join their ‘Family Dinner’
Are you a huge fan of Bitter Brother‘s beers and want to take your love-affair to the next level? Well, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you to fuel your brew crush. Bitter Brothers has announced they are having the first in a series of pop-up beer dinners. They’re calling it their ‘Family Dinner’ and hosting it at their Bay Ho tasting room. Co-owners Bill Warnke (also known as “Bitter Bill”) and Monica Andresen (just known as Monica) have planned these evenings to showcase the family of beers that Bitter Brothers has become so well known for – including their Family Tart Berliner Weisse, Golden Child Hef, and Extra Special Brother ESB. You may already know, if you’re a true Bitter Brothers fan, both Bill and Monica have a culinary background (they actually met while working for Waters Catering). Launching these beer dinners at their tasting room has always been part of the plan for Bitter Brothers Brewing Company, which just hit it’s sixth month in business, congratulations guys. Can I hear a whoop whoop!?
Their first dinner is happening…drumroll please… Tuesday, July 26th at 6 p.m. and Bitter Brothers wants to invite you! For this first installment, the five-course dinner will pair Bitter Brothers’ brews with worldly fare prepared by the brewery’s own “Bitter Bill,” the elder Bitter Brother who previously worked as a chef for Waters Catering, and beertender Travis Clifford, also a chef who has been a part of beer dinners at Toronado in the past. Pastry chef, Joe Burns, will be providing really the best part of every fine dinner, the dessert course. Finally, Bitter Brothers’ lead Brewer, John Hunter will be there to discuss the beers selected for each pairing, as well as answer any questions. But, we all know, they are also just showing up for the delicious food and beer. 😉
So if you’re a big fan of Bitter Brothers’ beer, you’ll definitely want to check your calendar and get tickets quick, as this dinner may sell out fast. Tickets are $65 per person. We’re interested in seeing how this first pop-up dinner goes and look forward to seeing more of the series in the future. As we all know, one can get pretty creative with themes for ‘family dinner.’
