When you’re a foodie and craft beer enthusiast, you live for beer dinners! Backyard Kitchen & Tap will be hosting a four-course beer dinner fit for San Diegan foodies and craft beer lovers alike. It will be happening on Wednesday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Executive Chef Denise Covert will be featuring a lineup of delicious dishes. She’s designing the courses to pair with craft brews from Latitude 33. Backyard’s Beer Dinner will be boasting a specialty menu honed for this special occasion. They are ready to serve up foodie-centric dishes for locals hankering for some good food and cold brews in this summer heat!
What’s on the Menu
The first course consists of Chilled Oysters, served with blood orange pearls, chili oil and bulls blood. They’re pairing it with Latitude 33’s Blood Orange IPA.
The next course features Roasted Bone Marrow. It will be accompanied by pickled fennel orange salad, roasted peaches and toast points. They are pairing the course with Ocean Grown DBL IPA.
They’ll be following this with a Seared Duck Breast. They’re serving it up with forbidden rice, watercress, and passion fruit habanero sauce. Mangoveza IPA is the perfect pair with this third course.
The night will end on a more indulgent note. Backyard is serving up a Honey Crème Brulee prepared with fresh honeycomb, wild berry sauce, dark chocolate soil and wild flowers. Your senses will be nothing but happy because they’re paring it with Blonde Cartel. This thoughtfully crafted beer dinner will have your tastebuds dancing with joy!
