Attention all San Diego beer enthusiasts!
The well-known Will Ferrell approved Best Coast Beer Fest (BCBF) is back! This amazing event is currently scheduled for March 11th from 2-5 PM (VIP attendees can enter anytime after 1 PM). This year, the third annual BCBF is expecting a turnout of over 7,500 craft beer lovers just like you. Not only is this a great event for the public to enjoy sipping on craft beer in the San Diego sunshine while listening to live music, but it also promotes local breweries and supports a great cause. Below you will find five amazing reasons that should and will make you want to attend this festival or at least give you some reasons to help persuade your significant other.
Support Cancer for College
Every BCBF ticket sold supports Will Ferrell’s charity, Cancer for College, which affords cancer survivors college scholarships giving survivors financial hope and to help them follow their dreams. To date, BCBF has raised $40,000.00 for the Cancer for College charity.
Over 90 local breweries at BCBF
San Diego’s craft beer scene is no secret, and with over 90 local breweries coming out to serve festival-goers, where else could you possibly want to spend your Saturday? Check out the links below to find out if your favorite brewery is scheduled to attend. P.S. – The general admission ticket includes unlimited beer samples.
90’s Music
Did someone say 90’s Music? Count us in! For all of you 90’s babies, come re-live your favorite childhood jams while sipping on your favorite (or newly found favorite) craft beer. LA’s very own Saved by the 90’s is scheduled to keep the vibe going all day. I dare you to try not to sing along to this 90’s party. Not one to dance? Don’t worry, giant lawn games will be in full effect.
Volunteer Opportunities
Looking to volunteer for a great cause? BCBF is accepting volunteers between 12:00 – 5:30 p.m. on the day of BCBF. Upon completion of a volunteer shift, you will receive a FREE T-Shirt along with FREE entrance into the 2018 BCBF. The link to sign up is available here.
BCBF is Tax deductible
Considering BCBF is for a non-profit organization that offers college scholarships for cancer survivors, it is tax deductible for festival goers. Absolutely can’t make it on March 11th? You can still make a donation online at the ticket link below.
