4 Beers for the 4th
The 4th of July is here and that means grilling, fireworks, and more importantly beer. This year we challenged ourselves to only pick four beers for the 4th. With so many summer beer options, our team had a hard time compiling this list. Here are four we can’t get enough of right now.
1. Abita Brewing Company – Strawberry Lager
This lager is not only refreshing, but it also has a perfect strawberry flavor and aroma. We’ve recently discovered this beer and it has quickly become one of our go-to’s for hot summer days.
2. TrimTab Brewing Company – Cloud Architecture
Cloud Architecture is a Double Dry Hop Marshmallow Hazy Double IPA that reminds you of a summer campfire. The marshmallow is on the subtle side so this IPA is definitely well balanced and drinkable. It will leave your taste buds dancing in delight as you enjoy the fireworks, preferably next to a campfire or fire pit.
3. Pontoon Brewing Company – Fruit Cup
As much as we love all the food on the 4th of July barbecues, sometimes we need some refreshing fruit. Fruit beer works as well. Right? This Berliner Weisse is brewed with cherries, blueberries, and vanilla. Even though it is a sour style, it is drinkable and would make a great addition to any 4th celebration.
4. Wild Leap Brew Co. – Chance IPA
If you’re looking for a new IPA to try this holiday, you’ll want to take a chance on this one. Wild Leap was recently named the number one Best New Brewery by USA Today. So odds are in your favor for enjoying this beer.
