Walking into the doors of the FanFest was like walking into a baseball dream world. You walk through two giant, lit up screens in the shape of waves coming at you, it was like the FanFest was swallowing you in. Right in front of you is a giant blown up baseball with autographs all over it- people were in long lines just to take a picture with it. There were multiple exhibitions with different kinds of memorabilia throughout the whole venue. In one of the exhibits there was a Q&A with two baseball legends, Jim Leyland and Tony LaRussa which drew a big crowd of people eager to hear what these guys had to say.
One of the exhibits had actual jerseys, hats and other items that were actually worn by different famous players from the past. To be so close to those items and to be able to see the transformation in jerseys and hats throughout the years was a remarkable experience.
