12 Days of Christmas Beers
Christmas is easily one of our favorite holidays. We’ve decided to come up with 12 days of Christmas beers as part of our countdown to the big day!
1. Anchor’s Christmas Ale – Anchor Brewing Company
Anchor’s Christmas ale is a subtly spiced winter warmer. Since 1975 Anchor Brewing has been creating a new secret recipe for their Christmas Ale. They sure know how to keep their Christmas traditions!
2. Mission St. IPA – Steinhaus Brewing Co
Mission St. IPA is amber in color and is not overly hoppy or malty. It goes down easy and is a great choice if you want to stick to IPAs this winter.
3. Redneck Christmas Stout – Jekyll Brewing
Redneck Christmas is an imperial stout brewed with some of our holiday favorites: coffee, chocolate, and peppermint!
4. Old Jubilation Ale – Avery Brewing Co.
Old Jubilation Ale is a winter ale with notes of hazelnuts, mocha, and toffee. Perfect for sipping around a warm fire!
5. Bristol’s Christmas Ale – Bristol Brewing Company
Bristol’s Christmas Ale uses a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, and molasses. This spiced ale is sure to have you excited for the holiday season.
6. Winter Warmer- Harpoon Brewery
Winter Warmer is brewed with cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is a rich combination of the holiday spices and the hearty malt backbone.
7. Holiday Ale – Two Roads Brewing
Two Roads’ Holiday Ale is inspired by Biere de Noel style, which originated in the north of France. Biere de Noel translates to “Christmas Beer.”
8. Mad Elf – Tröegs Brewing Company
Mad Elf is reminiscent of ripened cherries, raw honey, and cocoa with notes of cinnamon, clove, and allspice. The “Mad Elf” inside us loves it!
9. Celebration – Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Celebration Fresh Hop IPA takes a time honored tradition of brewing a special beer for the holiday season and brings it hop a notch. Famous for its intense citrus and pine aromas, Celebration is bold and intense.
10. Christmas Bomb! – Prairie Artisan Ales
Left to age on espresso beans, vanilla beans, chocolate, ancho chile peppers, and additional Christmas spices this Christmas Beer is bound to leave an impression.
11. Holidale – Breckenridge Brewery
Holidale, aged in whiskey barrels, is a great specialty brew for beer and whiskey lovers to enjoy!
12. Santa’s Private Reserve – Rogue
Santa’s Private Reserve is a Belgian Dark Ale packed with tangerines and boysenberries brewed at Santa’s request.
