10 Barrel Debuts Cali Love Music & Arts Festival

This weekend 10 Barrel Brewing debuts Cali Love Music & Arts Festival. Saturday, November 9, from 2 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. 10 Barrel and friends will be jamming out and drinking damn good beers. The festival is inspired by the brewpub’s Cali Love IPA, as well as San Diego’s active and creative community. With over 20 different beers on tap, nine local bands, live art demonstrations and local vendors this is sure to be an awesome celebration!

Music & Arts

Housed at their own East Village brewpub, 10 Barrel is transforming their brewery into a music festival. Cali Love Music & Arts Festival will be equipped with three stages: the Main Stage, the Sunshine Sounds Stage and the Patio Grooves Stage, there will be music for every taste. Guests can jam out at the Main Stage and the Sunshine Sounds Stage to local indie rock and reggae musicians, including including SYNRGY, Sensi Trails, Th3rd Coast Roots and Aviator Stash. The Patio Grooves Stage will host a special NorCal vs. SoCal silent disco from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.  Hoplight loves a silent disco, just throwing that out there. Additional music acts performing at the Cali Love Music & Arts Festival include Tape Heads, Project out of Bounds and The Frets. Some of the local vendors include Art in Flexion, Aleck Christian, Shaka Tie Dyes, Buelaphant Jewelry, and Original Grain.

Beer

Oh yes, and there will also be beer! Beer will flow at the event’s beer garden and two bars. A special edition of the festival’s namesake, Cali Love IPA will be on tap along with 20+ 10 Barrel beers. You will also be able to try some of their new Anchorman Series beers. Pints can be paired with bites from the 10 Barrel kitchen, led by Chef Tommy Fraioli. Craft tacos, gourmet pizza, and festival snacks will be available throughout the festival so attendees can refuel for their next favorite band or the silent disco dance party.

“This festival is the culmination of 10 Barrel’s passion for our city and, of course, for beer,” said Zach Borba, general manager of 10 Barrel’s San Diego brewpub. “The Cali Love Music & Arts Festival is our chance to bring the San Diego’s diverse community together in the heart of San Diego to share in great beer, great food, great art and great music.”

Event entry is free with an Eventbrite RSVP. VIP “Skip the Line” tickets are also available on Eventbrite for $15. VIP tickets include skip the line privileges, a special edition Cali Love IPA brewed exclusively for the festival and access to the rooftop yoga class.
